K3 Fruit Glasses
Theme: Fruit Month Craft: Fruit Glasses
Materials:
- Fruit glasses activity sheet
- glue
- scissors
- markers or paint
- a printable fruit template (optional)
Steps:
Begin by discussing with your child about the importance of eating fruits as part of a healthy diet. You can also talk about different types of fruits and their colors, shapes, and tastes.
Next, explain the craft activity to your child. Show them the materials and the fruit template (if you're using one) and discuss the steps involved in making the fruit glasses.
Pop out the glasses and the arm shapes.
Once the shapes have been popped out, show your child how to apply glue arms and attach them to the glasses.
You can draw or cut out more fruit shapes and stick them onto the glasses. Encourage your child to be creative and try to come up with a pattern or arrangement that looks beautiful.
Repeat step 5 until the glasses are covered with fruit shapes. You may need to use smaller fruit shapes to fill gaps or spaces.
Allow the glue and paint to dry completely.
Once the glasses are dry, fit them onto the child and enjoy!
